2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Testing में Spotted : Maruti Suzuki Baleno का mid-cycle update भारतीय सड़कों पर testing के दौरान camera में कैद हो गया है। Spy images से कई अहम बदलावों का खुलासा हुआ है। India के सबसे popular premium hatchbacks में से एक Baleno अपने current design के साथ early 2022 से बाजार में है और अब H2 2026 में इसे facelift मिलने की उम्मीद है। यह update Maruti के लिए काफी important है क्योंकि FY26 में Baleno ने 1,72,560 यूनिट्स बेचे थे।
Exterior में क्या बदलेगा? 
Spy shots में सबसे ज्यादा बदलाव front पर नजर आए हैं। Redesigned headlamps, updated grille with more prominent inserts, revised front bumper with wider air intake और नए LED Daytime Running Lights मिल सकते हैं। ORVMs पर turn signals और clamshell shaped bonnet भी दिखे हैं। Rear section में भी subtly reworked tail section नजर आया। इसके अलावा नए design के alloy wheels भी मिलेंगे जो overall look को fresher बनाएंगे।
Interior — Technology का बड़ा Upgrade
Cabin में भी काफी बदलाव होने की उम्मीद है। Larger touchscreen infotainment system wireless Apple CarPlay और Android Auto connectivity के साथ आ सकता है। Updated surface trims, new materials और all-digital instrument console भी मिल सकता है। Higher variants में 360-degree camera system, wireless smartphone charger और leatherette seats जैसे premium features भी आ सकते हैं।

नया इंजन — Z-Series की Entry
यह facelift का सबसे बड़ा technical बदलाव हो सकता है। अभी Baleno में 1.2-लीटर K-series DualJet petrol इंजन है जो 89 hp और 113 Nm देता है। इसकी जगह नया Z-series 3-cylinder इंजन आ सकता है जो Swift और Dzire में पहले से है। Higher trims में 1.0-लीटर BoosterJet turbo petrol इंजन भी मिल सकता है जो Fronx में उपलब्ध है — यह Baleno के portfolio को काफी expand करेगा।
CNG और नया Gearbox भी संभव 
Maruti Victoris की तरह Baleno facelift में भी under-floor CNG tank आ सकता है जो boot space को बचाएगा। Brezza facelift के साथ testing में नया 6-speed manual transmission भी spotted हुआ है — यही Baleno में भी आ सकता है। हालांकि इसकी अभी official confirmation नहीं है।
Maruti की बड़ी Strategy
Maruti Suzuki अपने existing models को regularly update करके competition में आगे रहने की strategy पर चल रही है। Fronx, Grand Vitara, Victoris और e-Vitara के बाद अब Baleno और Brezza दोनों के facelifts pipeline में हैं। यह साफ दिखाता है कि Maruti अपने हर segment में dominant position बनाए रखना चाहती है।
