Nissan Tekton जल्द आएगी India में : Nissan India अपनी comeback की तैयारी में है और इसकी शुरुआत होगी Tekton से — एक नई midsize SUV जो Terrano की जगह लेगी। Terrano को 2020 में discontinue किया गया था। Tekton Nissan की legendary Patrol SUV से inspired है और May 2026 में ₹10.50 लाख (एक्स-शोरूम) के आसपास launch होने की उम्मीद है। इसके बाद साल के अंत में एक three-row SUV भी आएगी।
Patrol-Inspired Design — पहली नजर में ही अलग 
Nissan ने Tekton का exterior लगभग पूरी तरह teasers के जरिए reveal कर दिया है। Front पर rectangular headlamps, angular DRLs और light band से जुड़े दो horizontal slats हैं जो radiator grille पर stretch करते हैं। Bonnet पर power domes और sharp looking bumper इसे एक muscular और aggressive look देते हैं।
Side profile में pronounced wheel arches, strong shoulder section और 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels हैं। Front doors पर Himalayan-inspired mountain motif वाला ‘Double-C’ shaped accent एक unique design touch है। Rear में C-shaped tail lamps lightbar से connected हैं। Overall design में old-school और modern SUV attributes का एक अच्छा balance है।
Interior — Modern-Tough Theme 
Cabin में modern layout के साथ rugged touches का combination होगा। Dashboard, door panels और centre console में tough styling elements होंगे। Equipment list में 10.25-इंच fully digital instrument cluster, 10.1-इंच touchscreen infotainment with Google built-in, dual-zone automatic climate control, 6-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation, manual lumbar support और panoramic sunroof शामिल हैं।

15+ ADAS Features — Safety में No Compromise
Nissan Tekton में 15 से ज्यादा advanced driver assistance systems होंगे। Lane keep assist, blind spot warning, traffic sign recognition, active emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop & go और 360º camera system शामिल हैं। 6 airbags standard होंगे। Safety के मामले में Tekton इस segment में सबसे आगे रहेगी।
इंजन Options — 1.0L से 1.3L Turbo तक
Launch पर दो petrol engine options मिलेंगे। पहला 1.0-लीटर turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol इंजन जो 100 PS और 166 Nm देगा — 6-speed manual के साथ। दूसरा 1.3-लीटर turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol इंजन जो 163 PS और 280 Nm देगा — 6-speed manual या 6-speed wet-clutch dual-clutch automatic के साथ। अगले साल की शुरुआत में 1.8-लीटर naturally aspirated petrol पर based hybrid system भी आ सकता है।
Renault Duster से Connection 
Nissan Tekton उसी RGMP architecture पर based है जो नई Renault Duster को underpins करती है। Mechanical components shared होंगे लेकिन design और character बिल्कुल अलग होगा — Nissan ने Tekton को Patrol की heritage से जोड़कर एक distinct identity दी है।
