Renault Bridger में होंगे 3 Engine Options : Renault का अगला बड़ा product Bridger है। नई Duster के बाद यह Renault की India में सबसे ज्यादा उम्मीद वाली launch है। Sub-4 metre segment में Kiger से ऊपर positioned यह model 2027 में launch होने वाली है। लेकिन जो बात इसे और भी interesting बनाती है वो यह है कि Bridger में एक नहीं बल्कि तीन engine options आने की योजना है। आइए जानते हैं पूरी details।
नया 1.2-लीटर Turbo Petrol — Performance के लिए 
Renault Bridger के लिए एक बिल्कुल नया 1.2-लीटर turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine develop किया जा रहा है। यह Duster के 1.3-लीटर turbo unit पर based है लेकिन इसमें multi-point fuel injection होगी जबकि Duster में direct injection है।
इसका सीधा फायदा यह होगा कि engine बनाने की cost कम होगी और Bridger की कीमत competitive रखी जा सकेगी। यह engine उन customers के लिए होगा जो strong performance चाहते हैं। Manual और automatic दोनों transmission options मिलेंगे।
Naturally Aspirated Version — Budget Buyers के लिए
जो customers ज्यादा fuel efficiency और कम कीमत चाहते हैं उनके लिए naturally aspirated यानी बिना turbo वाला version आएगा। यह भी उसी 1.2-लीटर engine family का हिस्सा होगा। Manual और automatic दोनों options यहां भी मिलेंगे।
इस strategy से Renault एक ही model को दो अलग-अलग price points पर offer कर सकेगी — performance seekers के लिए turbo और value buyers के लिए NA version।

CNG Option — Nexon CNG को टक्कर 
Bridger में CNG engine option भी आने की उम्मीद है। यह किसी एक 1.2-लीटर petrol variant का sub-version होगा। Renault ज्यादा likely naturally aspirated version पर CNG offer करेगी क्योंकि यह ज्यादा fuel-efficient और कम costly होगा।
हालांकि अगर Renault Tata Nexon CNG को seriously compete करना चाहे तो turbocharged version पर CNG देना ज्यादा effective होगा। CNG segment India में काफी बड़ा है और इस option के बिना Bridger एक बड़े customer base को miss कर देगी।
Hybrid और EV — 2028 में Phased Launch
Hybrid और pure electric variants 2027 में launch के साथ नहीं आएंगे। यह options 2028 में phased manner में आने की plan है। Bridger EV Renault का India में पहला pure electric model होगी — यह पहले भी confirm किया जा चुका है।

Design — Boxy और Rugged SUV Character 
Bridger का exterior boxy होगा और ground clearance करीब 200 mm। Interior modern-tough theme पर होगा जैसा नई Duster में है। Rear knee room 200 mm target किया गया है और boot capacity 400 litres होगी।
Features में panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, fully digital instrument cluster और Level 2 ADAS शामिल होंगे। यह feature list इस segment में काफी competitive है।
Nexon से मुकाबला
Sub-4 metre SUV segment में Tata Nexon सबसे बड़ा competitor है। Nexon petrol, CNG, EV और diesel सभी variants में available है। Bridger भी similar strategy अपनाने की कोशिश कर रही है — multiple powertrains के साथ हर तरह के buyer को target करना।
